Jordan's Grove Road Project Update

The bridge replacement project on Jordans Grove Road was let on March 19, 2019 and the project was awarded to A.M. Cohron & Sons, Inc. of Atlantic, Iowa for a cost of $1,969,450.47. The bridge is over the Wapsipinicon River and a project schedule is not known at this time.

With the heavy rain the last several weeks the river levels wwere high and flooded the project site. The contractor was unable to work the past several weeks. The contractor has resumed work, but the completion date has been pushed back to late September or early October.

Work continues to progress on the bridge replacement project. The contractor just poured a portion of the bridge deck earlier this week. The project is on schedule to be completed by August.

Work continues to progress on the bridge replacement project. The contractor has placed the beams for on the south half of the bridge. The project is on schedule to be completed by July or August.

Work continues to progress on the bridge replacement project. The contractor is placing concrete today for the footing of the middle pier. The project is on schedule to be completed by September.

The bridge replacement project has been underway for about 1 month and is still on schedule to finish by September. The contractor is currently removing the old bridge and is building temporary rock platforms in order to work in the river.

The bridge replacement projected start on Monday December 2nd as planned. The project is expected to last 7-9 months and should be completed by September. As a reminder, the contractor plans to start on Monday December 2nd. The project is expected to last 7-9 months and should be completed by September. Jordan's Grove Road will be closed at this location for the duration of the project. There will be a posted detour utilizing Waubeek Road, Boys Scouts Road, and Sawyer Road.

The contractor, A.M. Cohron & Sons, is scheduled to start on Monday December 2nd. The project is expected to last 7-9 months and should be completed by September.
Jordan's Grove Road will be closed at this location for the duration of the project. There will be a posted detour utilizing Waubeek Road, Boys Scouts Road, and Sawyer Road.
