Food Systems Assessment

The Linn County Food Systems Council is currently seeking a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges in growing our local food system through the implementation of a local food assessment. To gain the community’s perspective and input in this process, the council is working with New Venture Advisors to collect input from individuals engaged in the growing, making, and buying of local food. The results of the process will be a Linn County Food System Assessment and Plan that will be used to guide our community for years to come.

The council is currently focused on collecting information through three separate surveys, designed for those working on the production of local food, operating a local food business, or individuals working on the procurement or purchase of local food.

Surveys

The survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete and will be available until the first week in March. Please note, this is only a survey, not a reporting document or test and your responses are not binding in any way. The responses to the survey will be kept confidential and you have the option of also remaining anonymous.
