Youth Services
Both Linn County Juvenile Detention and Youth Shelter used to be under the “Youth Services of Linn County” umbrella. Linn County Youth Shelter officially closed its doors on April 30, 2010. In October of 2011 there was a “reorganization” effort and the Youth Services name was changed to Linn County Juvenile Detention & Diversion Services. The Juvenile Detention Center and multiple detention diversion programs now fall under the new title.
