Linn County is a member of the National Institute of Government Purchasing (NIGP).

Linn County strives to maintain the highest level of ethics with companies it currently does business with and with companies seeking to do business with the county. In order avoid any perceived preferences or conflict of interests, Linn County requires its employees to adhere to Chapter 68B.22 of the Code of Iowa regarding the acceptance of gratuities.
