Flood Recovery Buildings
During the 2008 Flood, 10 of Linn County's 14 public buildings were affected. Two buildings were damaged beyond repair and five require major renovation. Linn County is proud to report that all Linn County departments displaced by the 2008 flood have either returned to a permanent home or will return to a permanent home at the completion of construction projects. Linn County has accomplished this in less than two years after the fourth worst natural disaster in our nation's history related to public infrastructure:
