Five-year Long Term strategies and Goals
Strategy One: Be Fiscally Responsible
Demonstrate sound fiscal practices.
A. Proactively seek out alternative financial resources
B. Maintain a balanced enterprise account
C. Make sound fiscal purchasing decisions
D. Stay current on legislative policies and issues
Strategy Two: Improve infrastructure
Ensure infrastructure meets the needs of consumers and staff.
A. Review current internal and external resources to meet needs of consumers and staff
B. Utilize new building to maximize the changing needs of consumers and staff
C. Research, purchase, and manage technology
D. Utilize electronic documentation
Strategy Three: Create and Foster Services
Enhance lives of people through our services.
A. Review and enhance facility programs to meet changing needs of consumers
B. Review and enhance community programs to meet changing needs of consumers
C. Develop standards of excellence for all programming services
D. Offer innovative services internally and externally
E. Provide quality and competitive services to the business community
Strategy Four: Create and Foster a Culture of Professionalism
Develop a professional internal culture.
A. Hire qualified and energetic people who embrace Options mission
B. Provide effective and relevant employee training
C. Hold people accountable through established standards and expectations
D. Create and encourage positive, supportive, and professional relationships in the work place

Participate in effective partnerships and seek new opportunities for joint participation.
