Linn County, Iowa - Website User Testing

  1. Linn County wants your input on our new website!

Linn County is conducting user testing of its redesigned website prior to launching the new website to the public. This is your chance to get an inside look at the new County website before the rest of the public and to be part of the team working to ensure the new site is user friendly.

We will conduct two types of user testing: in-person and remote.

Eight people are needed for a one-hour, in-person, one-on-one session with a moderator. These sessions will take place January 16 & 17, 2019 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Linn County Public Service Center, 935 2nd Street SW, Cedar Rapids. For optimal results, the in-person sessions will be voice-recorded.

Up to 40 people are needed for a 30-minute remote user test. Remote participants can use any computer with internet access and will have 48 hours to complete the test after receiving the test email, which will come with instructions on how to complete the user test. Remote testing will take place the week of January 14, 2019.

All user testing is done on a volunteer basis.

Participants will be notified and onsite times will be scheduled directly with participants.

Thank you for helping us create a better website for you!

  2. Are you interested in participating in the onsite in-person user testing or the remote user testing? For optimal results, onsite tests will be conducted one-on-one with a moderator and will be voice-recorded. Onsite participation will take approximately one hour. Remote user testing will take approximately 30 minutes. *
