Historic Preservation Commission
Linn County is a Certified Local Government (CLG) for Historic Preservation in the State of Iowa.

Request for Proposals

The Linn County Historic Preservation Commission is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced consultants for work required to prepare a nomination of the Coggon Commercial Historic District to the National Register of Historic Places.
The Coggon Commercial Historic District has been previously evaluated as eligible for the National Register but has not yet been nominated for listing (Iowa Site Inventory No. 57-04623). Considered as locally significant under National Register Criteria A & C, the Coggon Commercial Historic District contains approximately two dozen resources. All of these resources are located along Main Street in Coggon.

The deadline for submission is 5 p.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
